🎶MUSIC🎶

IALT: Talk about what I feel while listening to MUSIC!

Kia Orana everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So right now, I am listening to music. Music is what makes me relax and imagine - that's ONLY if the type of song relates to that. I really have NOTHING other then to say, I'm listening to music but i'm in that 'church vibe' so i'm listening to a song called 'Amazing Grace Hymns Mashup | Amazing Grace x Be Thou My Vision x Come Thou Fount'.

It's a graceful & sweet song so you should really listen to it. I absolutely LOVE Music & have a passion for it which is Singing, and if you didn't know - I am in the TPS school band which was a shocker for me in the beginning of the year because I thought that I will not be chosen but the next minute, I was.

When i'm older, I will probably pursue that passion of mine but if it doesn't turn out good then I will just stick to my dream job which is being a Flight Attendant since I LOVE traveling across the globe and meeting new people!

I hope you liked this blogpost because there was NOT really that much interesting things other than me telling you that I am in the BAND for 2018! But I hope you have a WONDERFUL night and a good night sleep for school tomorrow, God bless!

🎊Older Brother's Birthday COMING UP🎊

IALT: Talk about how my older brother's birthday is COMING UP!

Bonjour and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today, I will be talking about how my older brother Pate's birthday is COMING UP! It's in May 2nd which will be one Wednesday I think, but what's exciting about it is that it's his 16th birthday! He is a FORTNITE freak, so on his birthday - he'll probably ask for something that related to that annoying game.

By the way, Fortnite is a game that MOST teenagers/children play around the world. It's addicting as you can tell because my brother doesn't really do ANYTHING except play Fortnite, either with his mates or family members!

Anyways, Pate if you're reading this - HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY BRO & HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!

That's ALL I wanted to say so Thank you for reading and have a AWESOME night!

🌟White Sunday Preparation🌟

IALT: Talk about my White Sunday Preparation!

Talofa and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today, I'll be talking about my White Sunday preparation! I've got some nice dresses here but i'm still trying to figure out which one is good zZ but we will pretty much go SHOPPING on saturday which I am SO excited about since I LOVE shopping like who doesn't?

Just know in ANY way, I am NOT trying to brag - I am just going to show you what I will be wearing on Sunday. JUST the clothes but NO jewelry since we will be shopping for that on Saturday, by the way - this dress kind of looks itchy but i'm telling you, it's not and it's kind of a creme colour which is unique for White Sunday.

Here is a photo of a dress that is very similar to mine..

Image result for white sunday dresses children - see through top

But it just that it longer with the sleeves up to my elbow area and the white fabric inside the dress is longer, if you know what I mean. It also has a creme kind of colour to it - by the way, I got this dress from my aunt who lives in Australia so for my birthday, she got me this dress that similar to this like i've said.

Thanks SO much for reading, I really appreciate it.

🙇🏽‍♀️Ako LESONI🙇🏽‍♀️

IALT: Reflect about AKO LESONI!

Malo Lelei everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today at 7pm, I had Ako Lesoni which is White Sunday practice. So, I'm in Kalasi 3 which is Room 3 aged 11 - 13, we're doing a play about Kuini Eseta (Queen Esther). In our play, half of us get given roles to play and the other half is fakamatala - which means the people who explain what story is about or just the story.

I'm pretty much doing 2 fakamatala's (explanations) but in my first fakamatala, there are 2 paragraphs, and in my second one - there is one 1 which is good. I'm the person who will be the first one to speak which is probably why my first lesson is long *stressed* but luckily, I already know ALL of it off by heart.

So let me explain - by the way, I'll be saying Tongan names because i'm not sure how to say it in english. The play is about a King called Ehasivelo & a Queen called Eseta, but in the beginning of the play it's - King Ehasivelo was with another woman named Queen Vasitai.

But anyways, The king fell into disfavour with Queen Vasitai because she had rejected his command so he took the crown off Queen Vasitai who is now known as Vasitai and went to look for a new queen/wife.

He invited ALL of the woman who lived in his kingdom to come along and persuade him to try be his wife but ALL of them were unlucky and he found the one who was Eseta! She became the NEW queen! Then after that, The king's right hand person who he had ALWAYS trusted betrayed him and that is Hamani so he kicked him out and replaced him with Eseta's father - to be continued....

Thank you for reading my reflection and also the story of Queen Eseta! If you have ANY opinions or feedback you'd like to give, feel FREE to comment!

💁🏽Term 1 MEMORIES💁🏽

IALT: Reflect about the Term 1 memories!

Howdy everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So I forgot to mention today, that this morning we talked about our 'Term 1 Memories'! We did a LOT of things last term like fundraising for camp - Hangi & Kia Manawanui Talent Show, Volleyball, Kia Manawanui P.E, Girl's Self - Defence, Boy's Tai Chi & many more...It was SUCH a fun time last term, but this term will be even more BETTER knowing that we got exciting things coming up like CAMP!

I am EXTREMELY excited about camp because it's gonna be my FIRST time away from home alone *laughing* and It'll also be freedom away from doing HEAPS & HEAPS of chores/cleaning.

Ms Aireen was even kind enough to make us a movie about 'Term 1 MEMORIES!' which was really scary for me since nearly ALL of the photos/videos of me were caught off guard *giggles* but anyways, click on the thumbs up to go watch the video!

🤴🏻Royal baby named Louis🤴🏻

IALT: Reflect about this article, I've read.

Hello everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So, I have recently came across an article about a 'Royal baby names Louis' on Kiwikids news. It's been a very LONG time since I've done a Kiwi Kids news reflection so I hope you enjoy this one...According to this article, The Duke & Duchess have named their third child 'Louis Arthur Charles' but to pronounce 'Louis' is 'Lou-ee'.

If you haven't figured out yet which probably you have, It's a boy! And he is fifth in line to the throne. To be honest, I never knew the Duke & Duchess had kids until I found out about this article which pretty surprised me and persuaded me to read it, but they are lucky to have such cute little shining stars in their life.

Anyways, it says 'It was also the first name of Lord Mountbatten – his great-great-great uncle' who sadly got killed IRA (Irish Republican Army) in 1979. If you didn't know, Arthur is also one of the duke's middle name and King George IV - Queen Elizabeth's father.

This was pretty interesting to read honestly, and could be interesting for you too because unlike me - I had NO idea that they had any kids so I got shocked. But thank you for reading and if you have ANY feedback or opinions about the blogpost that has just been made, Feel FREE to comment!

🤗My FIRST blog reflection for 2018🤗

IALT: write a reflection about my school holiday!

Hey EVERYONE and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So as you can already tell, this is the first day of school for Term 2, 2018. We got given a task from Ms Aireen to write 2 interesting things that happened during our Holidays, so I decided to create a DLO {Digital Learning Object} explaining all the things I've done and why it was interesting...

I am extremely HAPPY to come back to school but at the same time, I am tired because of how, I've been sleeping in a lot lately which is not normal for me *giggles* but hope you LIKE my DLO!

Thank you SO much for reading and I hope you liked it! If you have any feedback or opinions about the blogpost that has just been made, Feel FREE to comment!

What did YOU do during the holidays? I'd love to hear ALL about it!

🏆Commonwealth Games🏆

WALT: Research information about the 'Commonwealth Games'!

G'day and greetings to you all...
 WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today in the last block, we researched facts/information about the 'COMMONWEALTH GAMES'! I was kind of confused because what was the difference between this event and the Olympics?! It is the same thing right? Well...I find out about that and realised that the 'Olympics' is a massive event that invites ALL countries around the world as participants but for the 'Commonwealth Games' - it's ONLY for the countries that have had the British Colonization.

Sorry to repeat that since it's in a DLO {Digital Learning Object} that I made so you guys could learn more info/facts about the 'Commonwealth games'. Also, I forgot to mention - I worked on this DLO with my close friend Constance!

I had a LOT of fun doing this in the last block because NOT only did I get to learn about the 'Commonwealth games' but I also got to learn what it IS and when it had started!

Thanks for reading and please comment your opinions about the blog post that has just been made! Stay tuned for more blog posts coming up..MALO!

🤞🏽Volleyball Tournament🤞🏽

IALT: Reflect about our Volleyball TOURNAMENT today!

Ni Hao and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today, TPS {year 5 & up..} had our VOLLEYBALL tournament today @ Selwyn COLLEGE! I legit was SO excited coming since this is the very FIRST time, TPS has joined a Volleyball tournament and because how it's the FIRST Volleyball tournament for our sports cluster in HISTORY according to Ms. Aireen.

Like I explained on my last blog post, we had tryouts since SO many people joined and we did a PRETTY good job picking since of course - I was one of the people who got picked {NOT to brag *giggles*} but my feelings of how the tournament went is on a DLO that I have created!

BE sure to check it out:

I had such a FUN & LOVELY time going to Volleyball but sadly, it won't be happening again this year maybe. Hopefully, we have another favourite sport of mine coming up which is 'Netball' and I also hope we become stronger, and will be able to have more practices too when our next sport comes up..

🏐Volleyball Tryouts🏐

IALT: Reflect about Volleyball!

Ola and greetings to you ALL...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So today, Kia Manawanui just finished doing Volleyball. Since the year 7 & 8's have Volleyball tomorrow, we're doing tryouts since SO MANY people have joined but only 10 can go from each team. Something new has happened so this year, it will be split teams like for example.. a year 8 team & a year 7 team.

Not to be sad but I kind of felt happy that it will split teams because *giggles* not to brag, most of the year 8's are pretty good at Volleyball so it is a great idea to do so. I just hope that I'll be able to go to Volleyball tomorrow and get a spot in the year 8 Volleyball team hopefully since it's my ALL time favourite sport!

I have created a DLO about what I felt & did during Volleyball!

💆Mum's Birthday Celebration💆

IALT: Reflect about my mum's birthday celebration!

Morena everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So on saturday, my family decided to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday in our backyard which is at our NEW HOUSE! There were a LOT of people there that kept going in and out of the house for some reason?..but I didn't care. We've NEVER really did a MASSIVE celebration for so we're TREMENDOUSLY happy that she will feel special on a JOYFUL day!

Before we moved in to our NEW HOUSE, I thought the backyard was small to be honest but then as I saw this HUMONGOUS tent fit in it, I was blown away! The reason why I thought it wouldn't fit was because we have a very BIG deck so I was unsure but the next minute..I was like oh my gosh.

Well..enough of talking about tents *giggles*,  let me show you a DLO of what happened at her birthday!

\

I felt pretty proud of myself for helping a LOT this time with her birthday since I couldn't contribute money since i'm broke *HAHA* but I did setting up, dishes and many more..

👏Kia Manawanui Talent Show👏

IALT: Reflect about our Kia Manawanui Talent Show yesterday!

Hey everyone and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So since yesterday, Kia Manawanui had our talent show - we have to reflect about it TODAY!! Honestly, I had SUCH a lovely time with my peers as we each performed a item that we choreographed/rehearsed for 4 weeks since we got told in week 6. This talent show was a fundraiser for the year 7 & 8 camp which will be happening next term in week 5, we wanted to keep the costs low so us year 7 & 8 students could go so we decided $2,700.

We hosted 2 fundraisers this term which was the hangi fundraiser and also the Kia Manawanui talent show that we had yesterday. We still don't know how much money have raised but hopefully we will be able to find out soon or later..

Here is a reflection about last night!

I hope you liked reading my reflection!

💒Apitanga💒

IALT: Talk about how church camp - Apitanga - went!

Malo e Lelei and greetings to you all...
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

So last week on Friday, I had CHURCH CAMP which we call 'Apitanga' EVERY April & October EACH year. So on the month 'April', we usually will have to wake up early to go to morning church first and then go to breakfast but firstly, I will tell you where the boys & girls sleep.

So, in the kava room & the foyer, that's where the girls sleep since there is more privacy for us and I mostly sleep in the kava room with my mother and the rest of the older ladies, and also my cousin Nane.

Image

But I most likely want to sleep in the Foyer because I just find it better than the Kava room since most of the teenage girls and the girls that are kind of my age sleep there so we do all nighters and a LOT of fun stuff @ night.

Don't worry, because yeah - a foyer is the only entrance in most churches that lead you to the actual church where we will be going everyday for Apitanga, but we usually close the foyer door {where people come in from} and lock it. Then we cover it with curtains, same goes to the doors to church where ONLY us girls are allowed to go through since they're sleeping in the foyer if you KNOW what I mean.

Image result for church clipart

Then FOR the boys, they just sleep in the hall where the kitchen is so the older ladies and my mum cook breakfast & dinner there every single day {FOR 4 DAYS} but they cover the boys side with a huge material that looks like a curtain but really its not and it covers their side, for THEIR privacy but sadly - it's quite cold in the hall but NOT in the Kava room or the Foyer.

So, we usually do what we ALWAYS do every year when it's April like since it's Easter, we'll ALWAYS do bible studies and programmes but on Saturday - the kids under age of 14 have to stick with the kids so bad luck for them *laughing* but we do colouring and all sorts of other stuff.

On that night, we have to compete against our age groups on which colouring is the best and only our priest chooses. So the age groups are - 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-14 - But this year, NOT that much kids came which was cool since it wasn't really that crowded but still, it would've been better if most of the kids were there.

Image result for church kids clipart

Yeah but anyways, We just did the same thing like go to church and do a prayer before getting our beda ready to go to sleep then do programmes on Saturday & learn song {Youth only}, Then Sunday - wear white and go to church. After ALL of that, we sleep once again and go back to our homes on Monday since it's a holiday!
